After 23 years, Fairfax, VA’s rock quartet ebo has just finally release their long awaited major label studio recording, “Slipped Through the Cracks.” For this album, ebo worked with a stellar production team including Jack Joseph Puig (Remy Zero, Sheryl Crow, Green Day, No Doubt, Weezer), David Bendeth (SR-71, Vertical Horizon), Jeff Juliano (Train, Shinedown, Paramore, Dave Matthews Band) and Paul David Hager (Tracey Bonham, Letters to Cleo, emmet swimming, Megadeth). The songs were recorded in Los Angeles at Ocean Way Studios, with additional recording at Water Music in Hoboken, NJ and Fidelitorium in Greensboro, NC. ebo frontman, David Connelly co-produced several of the new songs with Ted Comerford.
ebo’s new album is the follow-up to their release Secret Weapon. Songs from Secret Weapon have received airplay on over 100 stations around the US, and have been featured in television and films such as MTV’s “Road Rules”, “Undressed” and NFL Films.
Originally influenced by the Beatles, Foo Fighters and all of Bob Mould’s projects, the band’s latest album also draws from their longtime love of DC bands Shudder to Think and more recent faves such as the Deftones. The result is an album overflowing with great hooks, strong vocals and exceptional songwriting powered by a fierce rhythm section.
